Salman Khan is always eager to lend his support to the newcomers in Bollywood, but he doesn’t seem gung-ho about promoting Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun Kapoor.

It’s common knowledge that when Arjun Kapoor was a chubby and overweight guy, Salman Khan inspired him to hit the gym, shed the extra kilos and become slim and trim. The superstar even guided the young lad through his workouts in the gym. But now that Arjun is set to make his debut in Ishaqzaade, Salman seems eerily mum about him. Is there a reason by Salman’s muteness?

We hear that Boney Kapoor in whose productions Wanted and No Entry Salman has worked asked the superstar to promote his son on Twitter. But Salman turned down the proposal. It came as a shock to Boney because Salman Khan and he have been very good friends and the actor has even gifted him a painting.

Moreover, recently Salman went out of his way to promote the newcomer Pulkit Samrat and his film Bittoo Boss. He even tweeted a snapshot of the film’s poster. But no such privilege for Arjun Kapoor! Why?

Word is that Salman isn’t pleased with the rumours that linked Arjun to Malaika Arora Khan, Salman’s bhabhi and Arbaaz Khan’s wife. Moreover, lending his support to Arjun may not go well with bhai Arbaaz Khan. So being discreet, Salman seems to have decided to ignore Arjun Kapoor for the time being. The young lad’s loss!
